Job description

We are a dynamic and inclusive organization committed to creating a best-in-class Early Intervention program for infants and toddlers aged 0-3. As we expand our team, we are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to play a crucial role in developing and scaling our program. In this role, you'll provide sensory processing and play-based therapy to children in their natural environments, fostering growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

As an essential member of our team, you will:

Evaluate, assess, and provide motor therapy to children from birth to age 2.
Collaborate with the Early Intervention team, Family Resource Coordinators, and program staff on interdisciplinary Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), goal setting, and case reviews.
Maintain meticulous documentation of case records, ensuring compliance with Part C and other policies.
Communicate effectively with insurance providers, school districts, and external resources.
Engage and empower parents through individual and group sessions, providing training and support.
Participate in the development of personalized goals for children and their families.
Provide coaching and consultation for staff, parents, and care providers.
Demonstrate a caring, nonjudgmental, and equity-minded approach in working with every family.
Prepare reports and progress notes as required, attending regular team meetings to discuss each child's programs and progress.
Attend professional development opportunities related to antiracism, oppression, and cultural competency.
Comply with organizational policies and procedures regarding the identification and reporting of child abuse.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and licensure by Washington State.
Experience working with children aged 0-3, interacting with diverse populations.
Successful completion of a portable background check through the Department of Early Learning.
Ability to pass a tuberculosis (TB) test or provide negative results within 12 months prior to hire.
Current Pediatric/Adult CPR, first aid, AED, HIV, and bloodborne pathogens certification.
A valid WA State driver's license, automobile insurance, and the ability to use your own vehicle for the job.
Commitment to family-centered, inclusive, interdisciplinary, and strengths-based ESIT best practices in natural environments.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Multilingual proficiency.
Working Environment:

Professional office environment covering various locations in South King County.
Services provided both in person and via teleintervention.
Physical Demands:

Regular duties involve standing, sitting, talking, hearing, and using hands and fingers for computer and telephone operations.
Close vision requirements due to computer work.
Salary Range and Benefits:

Annual salary range: $72,700 - $95,300.
Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, 401k plan, vacation leave, personal days, sick leave, paid holidays, EAP, and mental health benefits.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 44.00 58.00 Per Hour
