Description: The Department of Operations Research & Financial Engineering (ORFE) invites applications for a postdoctoral position broadly in statistics and machine learning. This position is supported through an Innovation Research Grant from the School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS) with PI, Jason M. Klusowski ( The position is for one year with the possibility of reappointment based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding. The anticipated start date for the position is June 1, 2024. Individuals with a strong theoretical background who expect to obtain a PhD in a related field (e.g., statistics, computer science, electrical engineering, applied mathematics, or operations research), before September 2024, are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will display outstanding ability for research and a record of publication in the field of their PhD.
