Job description
As Pricing Manager of the Deal Desk you will be responsible for overseeing the financial analysis related to customer contracts and pricing for key North American customers and sectors. This role is a business partner with Sales and enables sustainable profitable growth through customer P&L analysis, deal structure and driving price/mix improvement. This role reports through the pricing and product management organization. The candidate will ideally be located in the Fort Mill, SC., Wilmington, DE, or Mississauga, Ontario, Canada area (hybrid work from home/in office schedule).
- Manage, develop, coach and mentor the Pricing Analysts team.
- Manage the financial analysis for End-User Customers including margin improvement, price and mix optimization and annual sales and profit targets.
- Partner and collaborate with Leadership to drive Sector sales, exceed pricing targets, and enforce investment and pricing guardrails.
- Responsible for effective and efficient customer deal execution, including new customer deal, existing customer deal extensions, existing customer portfolio changes.
- Collaborate with Global Pricing team to develop, implement and leverage Solenis best practice pricing tools.
- Responsible for accurate and timely customer pricing setup in SAP and communication of pricing to customers.
- Ad hoc analysis of financial data to identify, understand and execute improvement opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience Managing Others.
- Minimum 5 years’ combined experience in Pricing and/or Financial Analysis providing detailed analytics including experience with managing customer P&Ls (experience in Sales, procurement maybe consider).
- Ability to meet travel requirements of 10-20%.
- Demonstrated proficiency all MS Office applications, with a high proficiency in MS Excel.
- Value-add mindset with demonstrated track record of delivering results and process improvement.
- Experience with accurately compiling, analyzing, presenting and interpreting financial information and data to facilitate decision-making.
- Experience with pricing software (e.g. PriceFx).
- Professional communication skills – Should be able to clearly and efficiently communicate with peers, customers and vendors, and senior management.
- Professional and effective facilitation skills – Should be able to facilitate group discussions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment – Should be able to adapt to varied and changing responsibilities, multi-task with proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Action orientated – Should be able to follow up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes.
- Collaborative team player – Should be able to establish solid working relationships with stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in a Business related subject preferred.
- Experience with SAP preferred.
