Job description
MSPCC, a division of Eliot, is currently seeking a candidate for the role of IECMH Program Manager. with two years experience in project management provision of direct services to young children or their parents.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinating the MSPCC Infant and Early Childhood Professional development offerings including but not limited to 0-5 and reflective consultation series and other training opportunities.
- Working closely with the Associate Director, IECMH to develop and coordinate efforts to build the capacity for reflective consultation (RC) and its availability throughout the state.
- Assisting with the development, marketing and implementation of RC training and development of groups around the state.
- Supporting and working closely with staff at MSPCC to implement the IECMH initiatives including project activities focused on MassAIMH Endorsement, and assist in the coordination of meetings including development of meeting agendas, reminders, meeting summaries, and recruiting members.
- Assist in the development of resources, products, and processes aimed at increasing awareness and interest in IECMH.
- Assist with internal processing and strategic planning in accordance with the Diversity Informed Tenets.
Qualifications: One of the following:
- Master’s degree with 2-4 years’ experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ experience required, in health and human services, social work, mental health, early childhood, or related field with significant program development experience.
- Lived experience or other educational background can be substituted for educational requirements.
And:
- At least two (2) years of experience in project management, provision of direct services or experience in policy development related to supporting young children or their caregiver, early education and care or foster care.
- Knowledge of content and issues related to infant early childhood mental health, reflective practice, social justice and racial equity. Candidates with a MassAIMH Endorsement® credential or willingness to pursue it over the course of employment is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to social justice, principles of inclusion, health equity, and diversity-informed care.
- Coalition building experience is a plus. Effective leadership skills, experience in working in collaborative environments, excellent communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple sources and types of information across projects. Candidates with high levels of integrity, thoughtfulness, curiosity around creating equitable and just internal processes, and sense of humor will be prioritized.
- Show strong growth mindset, receptivity to feedback, and the ability to learn from successes and challenges and be adaptable.
- Computer literacy and skill in the use of computers and related software applications a requirement.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work, local travel and infrequent out-of-state travel.
You will be supported through ongoing professional development in your role through engagement and collaboration, trainings in relationship based infant and early childhood mental health and early relational health models and practices, and will receive consistent weekly reflective supervision. Schedule : Monday- Friday, 9am-5pm
Salary : $65,000- $70,000
Location : Hybrid, work office in Lexington
