Trade & Compliance Associate I in GAC Savannah
Unique Skills:
Working knowledge of HTUS, schedule B, ECCN and ITAR classification.
Ability to operate information technology and communications to include computers, printers, scanners, facsimile, VoIP, cellular, wifi and multimedia.
Ability to effectively learn and operate within Gulfstream enterprise systems, web-based applications and 3rd party productivity software to include: Microsoft Office suite, Adobe suite, SAP, GTS, Corridor, and Visual Compliance.
Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. Entry level.
Position Purpose :
Under specific direction, provide research, project support and issue resolution to internal and external Customers and ITC team within specific job responsibilities, maintain records and systems related to job responsibilities. Ensure corporate compliance to applicable US and foreign government trade compliance regulations and corporate policies and procedures.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
- Provide effective project support for assigned functional responsibilities .
- Provide support as needed to ITC functions to further departmental activities for Licensing, Training, Systems Automation, ITC Program Management and Program Administration .
- Ensure timely completion of assigned responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner .
- Plan and organize work to ensure best utilization of time and company resources .
- Assist International Trade Compliance team in providing accurate and timely decision support, issue resolution and systems administration for internal and external customers .
- Support systems administration of Gulfstream Trade Compliance systems, programs and tools within assigned functional responsibility .
- Maintain and submit periodic reports on trade compliance activities that fall within functional responsibilities .
- Ensure on-going understanding of relevant US and foreign trade regulations and corporate trade policies and procedures to support corporate trade compliance issue resolution within assigned functional responsibilities .
- Assist the Trade Compliance department in event coordination and training .
- Assist the Trade Compliance team in travel administration, expense reports, and detailed coordination of actionable items .
Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to effectively operate in high-stress situations with multiple competing priorities.
