About Us:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in supporting the COMPASS National Capital Region (NCR) initiative. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing government financial, contracting, Workflow, Human Capital Management (HCM), and administrative support data to NCR MTFs (Medical Treatment Facilities). You will report directly to the Program Manager (PM).

Key Responsibilities:

Work independently on NCR-wide projects, encompassing a wide range of COMPASS task categories. These include data extraction, data entry, analyses, data cleansing, correction, 2nd level quality control, Workflow and HCM data processing, internal/external training, and reporting.

Maintain open and effective communication with MTF points of contact and the NCR COMPASS Team to execute program tasks and ensure timely and accurate deliverables.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of six years' experience in government finance or federal contracting; alternatively, four years of direct experience in the field may be substituted in lieu of a degree. An advanced degree is preferred.
Strong knowledge of financial or contract management information systems such as GFEBS, WAWF, EDA, CRIS, DEAMS, ABSS, STARS, or similar government systems.
Experience as a COMPASS user is highly desired.
Certification such as CDFM or PMP is a plus.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficient in interpreting government and Department of Defense (DoD) medical and financial regulations, with the ability to apply them to daily tasks.
Understanding of the deobligation process flow.
Expertise in applying government financial and contract procedures and utilizing legacy systems for data mining and export functions.
Familiarity with the Contracting procure-to-pay process, from requirements identification through contract award.
Working knowledge of the planning, programming, budget, execution system (PPBES).
Security Clearance: Must meet the eligibility requirements for a US government-issued security clearance. May be required to provide proof of immunizations, including COVID vaccinations.
