Optometrist
Professional opportunity for a licensed optometrist to provide comprehensive optometric care for the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW).
Primary Functions • Provide comprehensive optometric services for patients of the Eye Institute and affiliated clinics.
• Work with Eye Institute and affiliated clinic staff to promote high customer service and satisfaction to maximize productivity and to ensure access for patients seeking optometric services
• Participate in Eye Institute system-wide quality improvement projects
• Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:
Working knowledge of medically oriented comprehensive optometric care including refraction, diagnosis and management of ocular disease, and contact lenses; ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with patients, physicians and the general public.
Minimum Required Education: - Doctorate in Optometry
- Post-graduate residency in appropriate optometric specialty
Preferred Education: - Doctorate in Optometry
- Accredited post-graduate residency in appropriate optometric specialty
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited school or college; eligibility for a Wisconsin Optometric license.
