Job description
The Public Information Officer strategically disseminates information of interest to the news media and community. The member performs proactive communications, operations, marketing, outreach, and public relations duties and tasks specific to the position.

- Four year college degree from an accredited college or university preferred (marketing, advertising, or communications highly preferred)
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Professional certifications in social media marketing, e-marketing, or digital marketing highly preferred
- 3-5 years relevant professional experience in social media marketing, e-marketing, or digital marketing
- Demonstrated proficiency in writing and creating engaging content
