Job description
MPM, a company committed to excellence and continuous improvement, is seeking a diligent and organized Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our warehouse and dispatch operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing deliveries. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to our operations and to grow professionally within our organization.
Responsibilities
· Efficiently process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them, and distributing packages within the company.
· Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the company stock area, cataloging items regularly.
· Plan and schedule large shipments, ensuring sufficient storage space and staff availability.
· Prepare regular shipping and receiving reports, maintaining accurate records of goods shipped and received.
· Address and resolve issues related to shipping or inventory handling.
· Adhere to environmental management and systems.
· Resolve shipping issues and customer complaints promptly and effectively.
· Store merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods when necessary.
Qualifications
· Experience in a warehouse / shipping environment.
· Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.
· Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
· Strong problem-solving skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
