Sr. Network Engineer (Temp)

Job Description
Position Summary:
An ideal candidate will have experience in SDWAN as this will be the future of the infrastructure environment. This role will sit in Simi Valley, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for contributing to an extensive network integration project following a large acquisition
Responsible for network integrations; configurations, upgrades, and infrastructure clean up
Will work with corporate and local division resources to ensure cabling, routers, and switches are done correctly
Become a key member of the team responsible for the planning, implementation, support and maintenance of infrastructure solutions specific to compute, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
Daily environmental health monitoring, proactively remediating any identified issues.
Resolution of reported incidents and fulfillment of requests pertaining to the compute infrastructure.
Create concise and accurate technical documentation.
Manage multiple small and medium initiatives simultaneously.
Liaise with internal team to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder involvement.
Periodic on-call support for after-hours and weekends.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
7 years of overall Network experience LAN, WAN & WIFI management
Heavy experience with Cisco products
Strong experience with network architecture, integrations and upgrades
Experience in IT networking and Cybersecurity best practices and compliancy requirements for area of expertise
Experience with Wi-Fi configurations
Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.

Desired:
CCNP or CCIE certification
SDWAN migration experience
Network Certification
