Job description
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and help design, develop, and maintain electrical systems. This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and CAD drawings to support our projects, as well as setting up the power distribution networks, AC/DC motors, and controllers required for electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, using CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks, and ERP.
- Develop electrical systems, including power distribution, AC/DC motors, controllers, and other electrical components.
- Perform electrical testing with oscilloscopes, HiPot testing, DC power supplies, and other electrical testing equipment.
- Design and develop panel layouts, UL508A approved systems, and NFPA/NEC compliant systems.
- Design and develop transformers, DC-DC converters, and battery backup systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems.
- Develop and analyze transmission and distribution systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks, and ERP.
- Experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with NFPA/NEC, UL508A standards.
- Strong knowledge of ladder logic and power distribution.
- PE License in Michigan
