Arkansas Talent Group's Executive Search Team is exclusively working with a Family Office in Little Rock to find their CFO . The Family Office has a diversified portfolio of manufacturing companies across the country. The organization is seeking a strategic financial partner to help continue the expansion of acquisitions and looking for a veteran Financial Leader with a proven track record. This position will be a partner to the CEO and they are looking for someone with extensive experience in the Private Equity industry or manufacturing industry with strong experience in financial strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and overseeing capital raises. The Chief Financial Officer will also play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and direction of the organization, with a focus on supporting growth initiatives, leading finance and accounting functions, and providing strategic financial guidance to the Executive Team.
Duties would include:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the organization's growth objectives and acquisition targets
- Lead FP&A team that handles financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning
- Assess financial risks and opportunities, providing insights and recommendations to executive leadership
- Lead all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including target identification, due diligence, negotiations, and integration planning
- Evaluate potential acquisition opportunities and partnerships, conducting financial analysis and risk assessments
- Work closely with legal, tax, and other internal and external stakeholders to execute transactions efficiently and effectively
- Develop and implement strategies for raising capital, including debt financing, equity investments, and other financing alternatives
- Manage relationships with lenders, investors, and financial institutions to optimize capital structure and liquidity
- Evaluate and negotiate financing terms and agreements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and risk tolerance
- Oversee financial reporting processes and ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, and other statutory requirements
- Coordinate audits, reviews, and tax filings, liaising with external auditors and advisors as necessary
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy of financial information
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA designation preferred
- Minimum of 20+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, with a strong background in private equity, manufacturing, or related industries
- Proven track record of successfully leading mergers and acquisitions, from deal sourcing to integration
- Deep understanding of capital markets, financing strategies, and financial modeling techniques
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across the organization
- Strategic mindset with a focus on driving results and creating shareholder value
- NetSuite experience is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems and financial software; proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
