Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. This role is pivotal in steering our organization towards financial health and operational efficiency. You will work closely with the CEO to craft and implement comprehensive financial strategies that align with our short-term and long-term objectives. Your expertise will be essential in overseeing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and transparency in reporting, and fostering collaborative efforts across departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the CEO to develop strategic operational plans and capital budgets that align with the organization's goals.
Lead financial operations with a hands-on approach, including the preparation of cash flow analyses, budget variance analyses, and internal financial reports to guide decision-making.
Provide insightful reports on organizational performance, identifying trends and formulating solutions to address any financial discrepancies.
Guarantee the prompt and accurate completion and dissemination of all financial data/reports, including but not limited to payroll tax reports, public disclosure reports, and reports for third-party payors.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
A CPA, MBA, or MA is strongly preferred, showcasing a commitment to continued education and excellence in the field.
Proven experience as a CFO, demonstrating a track record of successful financial management and leadership.
Experience within investor-owned healthcare organizations is required, reflecting a deep understanding of the unique financial landscapes in healthcare.
Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
A commitment to collaboration, with a proven ability to engage and lead teams towards achieving financial and operational goals.
