About the Role
The Senior Integration Architect will play a key role in transferring current legacy interfaces to the latest Mulesoft Anypoint platform. Additionally, they will develop and create reusable elements, components, norms, structures, and procedures to aid and streamline API and intricate, dependable integration solutions on the MuleSoft platform.
Responsibilities
- Formulates technology vision and strategy for solution or business domain
- Utilizes holistic approach for solution analysis, design, planning, and implementation
- Acts as single point of contact (SPOC) between IT and business stakeholders
- Collaborates with technology and business stakeholders to develop solution design
- Works with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and other Architects to shape product roadmap
- Presents technical proposals to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Conducts proof of concept (POC) to evaluate new technologies
- Leads development team in translating business requirements into technical language
- Engages across multiple projects with diverse individuals and groups
- Promotes re-use through inner sourcing opportunities
- Keeps abreast of industry technology trends and emerging technologies
- Drives adoption of emerging technologies within the organization
- Actively promotes company mission within the organization
Candidate Requirements
- Proficient in microservice design, particularly REST-based microservice APIs.
- Advanced understanding of software design principles and major architecture patterns.
- Demonstrated leadership in agile delivery, with a pragmatic approach to architecture and development solutions.
- Deep expertise in AGILE/Lean development methodologies.
- Excellent knowledge and extensive experience with AWS services.
- Familiarity with containerization tools and technologies such as RedHat OpenShift Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Springboot), SQL and NoSQL DBMS (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB), procedural, and object-oriented development.
- Good understanding of DevOps processes and CI/CD tools.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into clear roadmaps and definitions of success.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
