Job Opportunity: Remote FHA Customer Service Specialist
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals with Mortgage Origination experience to join our dynamic team as Remote FHA Customer Service Specialists. As part of our Contact Center, you'll play a crucial role in providing exceptional service while assisting clients with inquiries related to Federal Housing Administration (FHA) mortgage policies and procedures.

Position Overview:
As an FHA Customer Service Specialist, you will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of others by delivering outstanding customer service through various communication channels. Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to calls and emails from the lending industry and the public regarding FHA guidelines and procedures
- Utilizing your expertise in mortgage origination to find solutions in our knowledge database
- Adhering to standard operating procedures for different topics, systems, and communication channels
- Documenting all interactions accurately in our database
- Staying informed about FHA mortgage processes and procedures to provide up-to-date assistance
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Proficiency in navigating multiple computer systems and applications
- Strong time management skills and reliability
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone etiquette
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of FHA loan origination experience, plus an additional year of customer service or contact center experience, or at least 3 years of experience in loan origination with conventional or government-backed loans
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance
- Availability to work an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday between 8 am to 8 pm ET
Technical Requirements:
- Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
- Direct connection to router/modem via Ethernet cable
- Compliance with Leidos' Telework Agreement

Compensation: $20-$23 per hour
