The sonographer is competent in the production and analysis of ultrasound images used by physicians for patient diagnosis and treatment,
In addition, the individual must be prepared to render quality patient care by exercising discretion and judgment in the performance of sonographic services,
Graduate of a CAAHEP Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health accredited school required; registered by the ARDMS American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
