Job description
Banyan Search is currently seeking a strong Senior Accountant to join a wonderful locally headquartered company! This company offers a great culture and opportunity to grow!
This position reports directly to the Corporate Controller and is an integral team member in daily accounting operations and month end reporting.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Month-end close process including preparing, reviewing and directing (as appropriate) month-end close tasks, journal entries and reconciliations
- Consolidation of domestic and foreign subsidiaries and eliminating journal entries
- Preparation of internal reporting package and of corporate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting schedules
- Assist in preparation of rolling forecasts/budgets
- Development, documentation and continuous improvement of processes
- Assist in administration of general ledger business unit and account set up
- Research accounting issues as appropriate
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA license preferred
- Minimum of three years of experience in accounting
- Strong MS Excel skills and large ERP experience
