Job description
The IT Quality Assurance Tester works in a data-intensive environment with systems ranging from mainframe applications to ETL, to web-based tools, within an MS SQL/C#/.Net shop. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual ready to contribute to the strategy and process development of the QA group.
What is a day in the life at Flagship as an IT Quality Assurance Tester?
- Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts
- Execute manual test cases and report test results
- Analyze tests with the goal of making them more efficient
- Make recommendations on acceptable risks in the application
- Assess the integrity of data
- Report on product quality and release readiness
- Develop and share ideas that will improve quality overall
- Assist with supporting and troubleshooting issues in test environments
- Contribute to strategy and process development for the team
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimally 5 years of experience in Software & Data Quality Assurance
- Experience working in a continuous delivery environment desired
- Experience in testing back-end systems with no user interface
- Experience with Financial Services
- Experience testing Data Enterprise Data Warehouses
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong written and verbal communicator
- Collaborative, self-motivated, and able to work individually or in a group
- Adept in manual testing
- Adept in creating Test Summary and Defect Summary documentation
- Some programming experience in SQL

- Experience using Selenium with C# and/or White
- Experience using Target Process
- Experience using MS Azure
- Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment
- Experience with Test Automation Tools
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
