Job description
Job purpose
Napa Home & Garden is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to market the company’s new direct-to-consumer business. The person in this position will have the opportunity to build Napa’s D2C presence, drive the digital marketing and strategic merchandising decisions, and have ownership in how Napa sells products to consumers online.
A little about us…
At Napa Home & Garden, we celebrate the joy of home. We were founded in Napa, California, with one simple goal: to help elevate each & every living space. Over the years we have forged relationships with many of the world’s best artisans, creating crafted, curated collections. From the front entry to the back garden, Napa is there to help make everything beautiful.
Our culture is informal. We work in a hybrid setting. We are a small company with big-company goals. We love what we do and strive to have fun doing it.
A little about you…
You are passionate about home, not only as a place to dwell, but as a place to find yourself, to tell your story, to entertain friends, to join in laughter, to show off a little, to make things grow.
You treasure good design, things that are made well and that make sense. You enjoy the time-honored but have a taste for the modern.
You have an eye for curating collections, bringing it all together yet keeping it simple. You like to understand how things come to market and brighten customers’ days. You know that the right products can make beautiful business sense --- from the designer’s mind to the artisan’s hand, and from the manufacturing line to a customer’s phone and ultimately to her home.
You have impeccable business sense. You know the importance of knowing---both who you’re selling to and why, as well as the numbers and research that go into your business. You love brand and the relationship it can create with a customer.
You know what goes into making an online store thrive. Always testing, you know what works, what’s changing, how to get noticed, and how to make buyers buy. You have an innate sense for what compels customers to act at each stage of the marketing funnel, and ultimately connect with customers to build sales.
Social is second nature for you. Pinterest is your playground as much as Excel is.
You are driven to lead, to create, to collaborate, and to succeed. You are thoughtful, optimistic, committed, and ready to roll-up your sleeves.
We can’t wait to meet you.
