General Responsibilities
Load truck in a safe and efficient manner.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete required Vehicle Inspection Sheet.
Follow the delivery schedule for the assigned route, and retrieving any needed items for return to the Central Production Facility or Support Center.
Safely drive and navigate an assigned delivery route, following all Company driver safety guidelines and traffic laws.
Position will be required to work a varied schedule which may include early mornings, weekends and holidays. Reliable and predictable attendance is required.
Schedule times vary based on seasonal demands, routes and traffic conditions. On typical days, shifts are 10-12 hours.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent education (GED).
Possess a valid DOT driver physical.
Possess a DMV record with one or fewer moving violation within prior three years.
Ability to understand traffic laws, safety protocols, delivery invoices, and maintenance considerations of vehicle.
Must be at least 25 years of age.
Must have a valid Food Handler's Certificate.
Possess a high attention to detail.
Present a positive attitude, have good interpersonal skills, and be self-motivated.
Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
