Job description
Airswift is recruiting for an Instrumentation Technician III position to support our midstream client on a contract basis in Mont Belvieu, TX .
Responsibilities: - Responsible for performing calibration, installation, troubleshooting and documentation of instrumentation and equipment used in manufacturing & utility plants.
- Perform calibrations and/or verifications of instruments and equipment to approved job plans, work instructions and/or procedures.
- Perform testing on electronic and instrumentation components to determine functionality level and capacity. Perform modifications, improvements, and recommendations to existing systems. Identify potential problems and make adjustments to correct, or otherwise troubleshoot, formulate and execute solutions for corrective repair. Plan and coordinate external calibration services, as required.
- Document problems encountered and communicate within business partners Performs predictive, planned, preventative and routine maintenance as directed. Recommends measures to improve equipment performance and suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department, shop, or work crew.
Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
