Gridiron IT is seeking a Program Manager to support a federal program out of Reston, VA.


Required Degree: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: 6 years of experience
Required Clearance: TS/SCI

Description:


The Program Manager will communicate issues and solutions to the broader management structure as requested by senior leaders. Provide guidance and direct tasking for junior program managers if any are assigned to the contract/program. Rapidly assemble and execute focused cross-disciplinary Government/Contractor teams to address urgent or unexpected cost, schedule, or technical program/contract issues.


• Responsible for the successful cost, schedule, and performance of the contract
• Serve as the main point of contact for the Contracting Officer (CO), the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), the Government Program Manager, and the Contractor's senior management
• Directly contribute to program efforts in several areas, including cost management/avoidance, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities
• Ensure proper performance of tasks necessary to ensure the most efficient and effective execution of the contract
• Utilize expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents
• Coordinate across multiple programs and Agencies to communicate and share information and achieve program objectives
• Provide an outlook by using their unique vantage point and crafting a future state of how the contractor thinks the government can improve business based on the vision of the contract
• Set up and record individual contractor level of effort to follow through on standard audit reporting and customer communications
• Perform program management utilizing Project Management Institute (PMI) standards and best practices.
• Participate, coordinate, and provide exercise development input and support.
• Engage with the National Level Exercise (NLE) community
• Integrate red/blue team partner capabilities and functions into annual training and scenario-based activities to meet exercise objectives
