Job description
Job Title: Full-Charge Bookkeeper
Location: Chula Vista, CA
Compensation: $65K-$75K

Requirements: Accounts Payable/Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, Payroll, Sage 100, GAAP
- Assisting in the preparation and presentation of monthly financial reports to upper management
- Working closely with the company's CPA for annual tax filings
- Setting up new jobs in Sage 100 and creating job files for management, budgeting and billing
- Preparing job reports according to the company's needs
- Coordinating job close-outs with Project Managers
- Assisting in the management of Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Resolving collections issues
- Assisting in the preparation of income analysis, budget, gross profit, cash forecasting and other custom reports as needed
- Setting up and maintaining personnel records
- Assisting in processing payroll
- Administering employee benefits
- Administering 401k plan
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with Sage 100
- Experience with PIEE/WAWF government electronic invoicing, receipt and acceptance software is a plus
- 401k and employee benefits administration experience is preferred
