Brown & Brown is seeking a Insurance Executive Assistant for our team in Fort Lauderdale , Florida .
Responsible for account management, client retention, and customer service support to Vice President using a variety of skills and knowledge of the insurance market, products, and competition.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Detailed organization -Email, phone, calendar, scheduling, and all related organizational items for Producer
- Responsible for all documents needed for renewal marketing and renewal proposal
- All duties related to maintaining current client book
- Manage and retain existing book of business and pursue new opportunities for the book, where appropriate, including a specific business plan for growth.
- Provide customer relations with all levels of client's decision-makers as well as the day-to-day technical client representatives.
- Follow-up to address customer needs and resolve any problems or issues with the assistance of Account Manager.
- Assist in soliciting and monitoring email campaigns for any/all new business opportunities.
- Provide consistency in customer communication to help build client retention.
- Develop leads or lists to distribute out to myself or others to assist in creating opportunity for new business sales.
- Ensure proper resources from within the organization are involved with the customer and introduce new products through the other core business groups, where appropriate.
- Develop and oversee customer service plans for each client and understand the needs of the customer.
- Document sales and prospecting information into the sales management database.
- Prepare customer renewals and new business strategies, including proposals and presentations while ensuring agreement with customer's requests/requirements.
- Assist in proposal to customer, ensuring appropriate team members and resources are represented/attend.
- Promote teamwork and commitment to direct colleagues/agency goals. Follow Agency guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Remain current on industry trends and information, new product development, legislation, coverages and technology.
- Remain up to date with current market conditions and status of competition.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- High School Diploma required
- 220 License is Required Within 3 Months of Hire
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- High Level Organization/Time Management
- High Level Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Ability to Learn/Adapt Quickly
- Works Well with Deadlines and Under Pressure
