Job description
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team and provide engineering support to our production departments. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Environment, 3D Modeling, SolidWorks, Manufacturing Best Practices, Electrical Schematic, Plumbing Schematics, 2D CAD, AutoCAD, and the Semiconductor Industry.
Location: Meridian, ID onsite 5 days a weekÂ
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 DOE
Position Overview: The role of the Mechanical Engineer is to provide engineering support to the manufacturing departments and to develop and maintain mechanical designs for products and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain mechanical designs for products and systems.
- Analyze existing designs and make changes to improve quality, performance, and reliability.
- Design and implement mechanical components and assemblies.
- Perform prototyping to test designs.
- Contract and work with outside vendors on parts fabrication and assembly.
- Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical systems.
- Write reports and make presentations regarding project progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Environment, 3D Modeling, SolidWorks, Manufacturing Best Practices, Electrical Schematics, Plumbing Schematics, 2D CAD, AutoCAD, and the Semiconductor Industry.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
