100% REMOTE during Covid work from home then onsite in Hoboken, NJ
US citizenship or Green Card with excellent communication skills.Will consider EAD. Build a single source of truth system for Clients Store and eCommerce platform to handle the cost to acquire an item and all dimensions which encompass the cost value. This is a microservices platform built on the JVM stack using Kotlin and containerized within Nomad on Azure. Looking for someone to come in and assist the team with the release, triaging post release issues and preparing for next phase of delivery. Responsibilities: Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Software Engineering and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans Participate in medium- to large-scale projects Provide and support the implementation of business solutions Provide support to the business Troubleshoot business and production issues Required Experience Experience with building scalable, high performing and robust Java applications with multi-threading and connectors Experience with MS Azure stack and generally development in cloud environment is a must Experience developing with Spring framework Experience with no-SQL technologies like Cassandra and/or Cosmos DB Experience developing with web/app containers such as Apache/Tomcat Experience with Microservices Good knowledge of Scala and Spark (are plus); Good understanding of streaming technologies like Apache Kafka is important Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes Nice to have: Kotlin development experience is a nice to have Good understanding of functional languages, like F#Job tags
