Job description

Concordia University Chicago (CUC) invites applications for a full-time Theology Faculty position, located in River Forest, IL. The selected candidate must have competency to teach courses through in-person and online modalities in one or more of the following areas: Hebrew, Latin, Old Testament, Systematic Theology, and/or Philosophy. The selected candidate must demonstrate enthusiasm and competence for teaching both non-Christian and Christian students. The ideal candidate should hold a Ph.D./Th.D. in either Systematic Theology, Exegetical Theology, or Theological Languages and be an ordained and rostered member in good standing of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod or one of its partner churches. It is desirable that the candidate also has parish/pastoral experience and collegiate teaching experience.

An earned PhD in Systematic Theology, Exegetical Theology, or Theological Languages (Greek, Hebrew, or Latin) is required; ABD candidates will be considered.

Compensation and Benefits:
