Overview
The Sr. Manager, FP&A will have a unique opportunity to join a high performing FP&A team and contribute to the growth of Dragos by providing analytical insights, reporting and managing financial plans and targets. Reporting to the VP FP&A, the Sr. Manager, FP&A will work closely with Accounting, Sales Operations, as well as with business partners across the company.
Responsibilities - Support the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and rolling forecasts; and prepare variance analytics against forecasts
- Work closely with GTM teams to deliver sales/revenue forecasting, metrics, reporting and analysis
- Prepare, deliver accurate and continuously improve monthly/quarterly business reporting packages to executive management, the board of directors and other stakeholders in a timely manner
- Facilitate financial reviews with business partners to understand their budgets, ensure effective cost management and maintain financial discipline
- Maintain and enhance the fully integrated 3 statement financial forecast model
- Perform ad hoc analyses to support initiatives such pricing, margins, cost-benefit analyses, new business lines or other complex business modeling
- Perform data-driven analyses to monitor business operations; provide management with clear and actionable insights into drivers of business growth, risks and opportunities
- May coach, review, and/or delegate work to other team members
- Proactively engage with cross-functional teams to develop continuous process improvements to planning, analyses, and reporting; work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure key data is timely and accurate
Qualifications - 5-8 years of experience in corporate FP&A, investment banking, corporate finance or a similar analytical/reporting role
- Expert Excel user with proficiency in advanced data/financial operations.
- Solid understanding of SaaS/Software metrics and benchmarks, including but not limited to, ARR, LTV, CAC, churn/retention (NDR/GDR), sales productivity, Rule of 40, etc.
- Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is a must
- Experience implementing budgeting/forecasting tools such as Planful or Adaptive a plus
- Experience with data visualization and reporting software such as Tableau, Clari, Power BI, or other cloud-based tools
- Strong understanding of data structure, aggregation and transformation
- Strong financial and business acumen ability to see and communicate the "what" and "why" behind the numbers, and ability to connect the dots between operational metrics and financial results
- Demonstrated experience in leading budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Proficiency in building and maintaining complex financial models including fully integrated three financial statement forecasts, and scenario analysis
- Hands-on experience in managing a company-wide financial planning process, including developing gross margin forecasts and operating budgets at the department level, and creating management reports
- General knowledge of GAAP and an understanding of the difference between accrual and cash accounting
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to establish strong relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization
Compensation - Salary: $160,000
- Base + Benefits + Equity: $340,000
