Job description
As a Construction Superintendent (known internally as Program Field Representative), you will run assigned Construction Projects to support the Facilities and Operations Services (FOS) Facility Asset Management (FAM) team at the Disneyland Resort (DLR).
You will work with the Construction Manager of Facility Asset Management.
Responsibilities/You Will
Ensure projects are prioritized and performed with an emphasis on, quality control, budget management, and schedule control.
Lead each assigned project from creation to completion.
Complete projects within the approved budget and schedule with the highest quality and in the most cost-efficient manner.
Supervise the project safety program in close coordination with Disneyland Resort Safety.
Monitor final approval for contractor-submitted safety plans and compliance with the project safety plan. Includes compliance with all regulatory Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements, corporate governance requirements, and Disneyland Resort safety requirements.
Attend pre- and post-bid scope reviews/constructability reviews on projects in design phases.
Develop project implementation strategies and schedules with the support of Facilities and Asset Management (FAM) Project Schedulers.
Oversee the project schedule, establish project planning tasks to ensure schedule compliance and man-loading requirements of the contractor to achieve the desired completion date.
Coordinate operational constraints and job goals together to achieve a detailed project. Including leading communication with Partners, Clients, and Operations Management regarding project status, schedule, financial, and guest impacts.
Communicate project information to lines of business clients and all impacted Resort divisions and Operations Management.
Be located on the project site for most of the day.
Basic Qualifications/You Will Have
6+ years of experience with Construction Supervisor experience on multiple commercial construction projects.
One year of shown experience with concise technical writing in an academic or work environment.
Experience managing construction project(s) over $5,000,000.
Experience working with principal trades (excavation, concrete, steel framing, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
Academic or work experience interpreting drawings (architectural drawings or engineering drawings, etc.).
Flexible with work schedule, including different shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Engage with multiple levels of Cast Members and Employees, while promoting agreement on the team.
Identify opportunities to balance urgent requests with long-term team goals.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with multiple software programs such as construction management software and Microsoft suite of products.
Proficient in OSHA Regulations.
Required Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Preferred Education
College Degree with an emphasis in project management.
Special classes in building construction (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP), estimating, reading contract documents).

The hiring range for this position in Anaheim, CA is $102,000.00 - $136,700.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Job tags
