Adecco Creative and Marketing is partnering with a ride service, food delivery, and freight transport company in the San Francisco area. We are looking for an Event Specialist for a 6M assignment. This is a hybrid role, must be able to commute to San Francisco. This person will play a key role in the planning, management, and administration of executing strategic event programs including trade shows and other external events. Some responsibilities include event logistics, working with internal and external stakeholders, creative development facilitation and execution, agency management, and more.

What You'll Do:

• Help bring to life the brand at events in a way that is consistent with our global brand positioning, B2B narrative, and product positioning

• Support ad-hoc regional event requests and logistics as required (managing incoming requests, shipping/handling of booth materials, consulting with local teams to provide event guidance)

• Contract management / legal negotiations / sending to leadership for signature

• Manage and track budgets, track payments, onboard new vendors, open POs, receiving + paying invoices, communicating with our vendors on event sponsorship payments + invoicing

• Managing our relationship with swag vendor, swag inventory, shipping swag and backdrops to and from events

• Collateral: Ensuring that we have all the right collateral for each event, getting it printed, and in the hands of our on-site team for the booth

• Trade show management: confirming sales reps to attend each event, register all reps to attend, make sure they have their hotels + flights booked.

• Work with our agency to make sure we have a booth setup for every trade show, manage shipping of all swag / booth with our agency, confirm booth placement, order rugs and rental furniture for each show, upload logos and company description, etc into the exhibitor portal.

• Share event best practices and manage event playbook for local field teams

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in event marketing or management

• Strong understanding of the event management process including demand gen

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• A self-starter with the ability to own projects and work independently in a fast paced environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Account Management, Product teams and Vendors.

• Ability to travel to events as requested

Pay Details: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour
