Based outside of London Victoria station, we are in an ideal office location with several transport links and flexible working is supported.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
As online content manager you will be responsible for managing and producing online content that addresses the challenges and goals of our B2B audience. This includes generating outstanding content through own research and engaging with industry stakeholders and influencers.
Specifically, the role involves:
- Collaborating with event producers, marketing managers, and stakeholders to create compelling content for community engagement.
- Ensuring effective application of our brand style and tone of voice in content and communications.
- Writing articles, reports, and conducting interviews on emerging trends and topics.
- Owning the content calendar for commercial partnerships and community growth.
- Building relationships with industry influencers, thought leaders, and community members to enhance brand credibility.
- Establishing your presence on social media platforms, especially LinkedIn and Twitter, as an industry influencer.
- Working with marketing and enquiries teams for effective promotion and follow-up of each content piece.
- Presenting regular content performance reports to the wider team.
- Producing audio/video content
Desired skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have an interest in B2B marketing along with the enthusiasm to learn and establish a strong career in online content. Applicants should have excellent written and organisational skills as well as strong computer literacy and the ability to work to strict deadlines.
Ideally, we are looking for:
- A minimum of 1 2 years’ experience working in Communications, Marketing or Journalism
- A fast learner with the ability to create original and remarkable content
- Detail oriented and very organised
- Curious nature and drive to delve into industry specific issues
- Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision and direction
- Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks in a fast-changing environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with a wide variety of individuals at all levels
Training & Development
To enable you to achieve your potential, extensive on-going training will be provided throughout your tenure. Regardless of your position everyone is provided with an initial 3-month induction and training plan followed by advanced development.
