Job description
Position Overview: We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our payroll team as a Payroll Clerk. The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for managing the company’s payroll record keeping and processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure payroll taxes are calculated and paid on time.
- Maintain thorough records of payroll transactions and employee information.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local payroll regulations.
- Follow up on inconsistencies and discrepancies in payroll information.
- Respond to employee inquiries and requests regarding payroll issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of Dba experience.
- At least 2 years of payroll processing experience.
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
