The College of Education at Oregon State University invites applications for an Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs ( ADASA ), with an accompanying Associate or Full Professor appointment. The incumbent will hold two appointments, a 0.75 FTE , 12-month professional faculty position as Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, and a 0.25 FTE , 9-month, tenured, academic faculty, Associate/Full Professor position; reflecting duties in both academic and administrative areas.

The incumbent will serve as Associate Dean for an initial period of 3 years at the discretion of the Dean.

The ADASA for the College of Education will be an integral part of the College Leadership Team (LT), working closely with the Dean, Associate Dean for Research, Dean's Office Staff, Department Heads, Student Services Staff, faculty and the students, as stakeholders, to advance the academic and student service mission of the College. The ADASA will collaborate with the LT in developing and implementing the strategic plan of the College. The ADASA will provide leadership for faculty in the development of policies and programs related to curriculum, academic affairs, student services, and teaching- and learning-related partnerships and outreach in order to improve student recruitment, retention, and success with a special focus on underrepresented students. The ADASA will integrate, advocate, and advance equity and inclusive excellence within all aspects of their work.
