Job description
We provide plumbing and HVAC services nationwide! We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team.
- Position Overview:
- The Senior Accountant is responsible for providing accurate and reliable financial information, preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports, and ensuring the company is compliant with all applicable financial regulations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage all financial records, including accounts receivable and payable, general ledger, and financial statements.
- Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis, ensuring accuracy of financials.
- Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable financial regulations.
- Assist with month end close, including preparation of journal entries.
- Manage and maintain fixed assets.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
- Proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
