Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a motivated Senior Systems Integrator to support the organization, forging partnerships with senior leadership to drive and foster seamless communication, and implementation of the customer's vision and join our team of technical and business experts providing operational and mission support to a SI/SETA mission for a classified customer in McLean, Virginia.
The ideal candidates will possess strong communications and interpersonal skills, be a self-starter who will take initiative for helping manage key parts of complex technical developments, possess a d esire and ability to work on multiple fast-paced projects, and is willing and able to aggressively learn the activities and focus of the organization.
Our unique team of technical and business disciplines provide operational support for Systems Engineering/Integration, Mission Planning, and Business Operations to multiple functional mission areas. The team is responsible for technical design, operations, and mission planning and business operations for the full life cycle of customer specific operations (from concept through development and installation/O&M).
In this role as a Systems Integrator you will provide direct support to a senior officer or principal(s), working independently with general review and guidance.
The System Integrator will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
- Facilitate and manage meetings for a variety of different stakeholders to include senior leadership, staff, and working groups.
- Solicit stakeholders for briefing topics, coordinate with speakers, compile briefings, and prepare agendas.
- Provide meeting minutes (with increasing knowledge of substantive areas over time specifically technical meetings), highlights, slide decks (updates on correct templates for stakeholders), Excel/Office spreadsheets.
- Provide relevant discussion topics for future meetings.
- Draft clear, concise, hard and soft copy routine to moderately complex correspondence on behalf of the principal, emulating his or her style and voice.
- Format, proofread, and edit correspondence and review other documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, grammar, and conformance with guidance and ensure response adequately addresses concern/question. Route/track through completion.
- Provide information or respond accurately to routine to moderately complex questions and/or technical/administrative issues and requests in a clear, concise, credible, courteous manner, and in an appropriate way.
- Respond directly to inquiries' when appropriate or take action to facilitate resolution of a range of inquiries and concerns related to the supported mission.
- Track assigned actions to ensure completion and response (overseeing requirements are tracked and communicate status).
- Correspondence to appropriate internal or external contacts.
- Seek information from appropriate internal/external resources to provide background information to the principal as required adequately addressing and resolving issues and concerns.
- Manage internal business actions, identify internal and external dependencies and apply decision analysis to ensure tasks and action progress at a rate commensurate with organizational operational tempo.
- Facilitate engagement sessions with mission partners and/or other forums.
- Develop standard operating procedures and associated documentation.
- Manage day-to-day office operations and seed to improve office work-flow.
- Interacting with multiple stakeholders to assess, understand, document and manage requirements.
**This role requires the candidate to perform duties on-site Mon-Fri.**
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- An Active/current TS/SCI with an active Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technical, or related technical field and eight (8) years of relevant experience; Master's degree and six (6) years of relevant experience; PhD and seven three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience with the MS Office Suite with the ability to prepare technical and non-technical briefings/presentations for use at the executive level.
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communications and interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail, with executive presence.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills and effective decision making; excellent judgement and discretion; analytical skills to evaluate programmatic data/metrics; resolve inconsistencies; propose solutions to programs.
- Demonstrated intellectual rigor and professional expertise to brainstorm new ideas and identify appropriate industry and sponsor best practices.

- Demonstrated experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced and demanding technical environment

- Demonstrated experience in analyzing governance, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines on tasks/projects.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining time management and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technical, or related technical field and 10 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Customer's processes and procedures to minimize the learning curve for project/task navigation
- Demonstrated effective client management skills to include experience managing across offices and organizations
- Demonstrated experience and solid understanding of long-range strategic planning in a large organization, change/transition management, portfolio management and financial management
- Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's projects and applications
- Demonstrated experience finding relevant graphics and information to build briefing materials, status reports, weekly updates, and other documents, with minimal guidance.
- Demonstrated experience participating and contributing to executive-level meetings and program briefings.

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
