Job description

The Program Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the program and ensure to build camaraderie through effective team building. This role will demonstrate the ability to implement and manage organizational changes through a team approach, promotes a sense of shared ownership and a positive, collaborative work environment. In addition, the Program Manager will also attend meetings sponsored by the state, funding sources, and other parties within the behavioral health system.
Annual Salary : $50,000
Location: Mesa, AZ
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm (Occasional Saturdays for tabling/resource fair events.)
QUALIFICATIONS Education: - High School or GED required
- Associates or bachelor's degree, preferred
Experience: - Two (2) years of extensive experience and knowledge in the formulation, development, implementation and monitoring of prevention/intervention services and programs.
- Previous management experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Role model appropriate behaviors to staff and clients at all times.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff to meet program needs.
- Set goals to encourage ongoing professional growth and define expectations focused on personal strengths of the individual.
- Complete and submit all required reports, documentation, and narratives to support departments, funders, and stakeholders as required.
- Ensure reports are submitted timely and accurately.
- Schedule and monitor staff workload. Complete staff orientation checklists, competencies, and performance evaluations promptly.
- Effectively communicate program progress, activities, and needs both verbally and through informal/formal report writing.
- Work with program staff to ensure that all documentation and paperwork required by funding agencies are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Ensure data system is appropriate to program needs and staff have appropriate skills for data entry.
- Establish working relationships with the support departments, communicate with them effectively and efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met with accuracy and in a timely manner.

- Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation
- Current Auto Liability Insurance
- Clean 39-Month Motor Vehicle Record
- Must Be At Least 21 Years of Age
