Global Supply Chain Planning Analyst The Global Supply Chain Planning Analyst evaluates phased global supply against the phased demand of Hasbro’s 40+ business units, creating with their discretion supply plans that globally optimize the use of constrained capacity to satisfy that demand. Operating in the SAP IBP planning suite and in SAP ERP, The Planner works cross functionally with Project Management, Global Brand Marketing, Engineering, Business Unit and Regional Demand Planning and HFE to identify, communicate and resolve risks and opportunities related to supply and demand matching. The Analyst procures all finished goods at their discretion for their specified brand(s) globally across all vendors to satisfy local demand under supervision from Global Planning Managers and/or Sr. Global Planners. This role sits in Providence RI and working a hybrid model (2 days in office per week) A Day in the Life as a Global Supply Chain Planning Analyst: Evaluate constrained supply and unconstrained demand and create supply plans to maximize capacity utilization and revenue opportunities while minimizing the risk of obsolescence across 25+ global warehouses and 40+ global business units. Achieve and maintain a 95%+ service level of supply to demand for assigned items/brands Procure all of Hasbro’s finished goods for assigned items/brands globally while working to mitigate the risk of excess through global inventory transfers, helping to achieve organizational goal of $20M+ annual inventory moves at cost Identify, communicate, and resolve supply challenges impacting demand cross functionally and globally. Work with Project Management, Engineering, Global Brand Marketing, Demand Planning, and other functions to proactively attack potential issues that may negatively impact Hasbro’s ability to meet its customer’s expectations including the initiation and evaluation of tooling Manage and improve processes within Global Supply Chain Planning and related disciplines. Achieve 95% master data accuracy KPI by owning the creation and maintenance of master data items such as capacity, minimum order quantity, lead time and transit time in SAP. Participates in smaller scale continuous improvement projects to build confidence and skills that prepare The Planner to participate in larger and more impactful strategic initiatives while contributing to project goals. The Analyst will be responsible for optimally resolving global and local shortages of supply to demand in a constrained capacity environment across all of Hasbro’s 40+ business units. The Analyst, at their discretion and under moderate supervision, evaluates and solves a wide range of challenges Daily/Weekly/Monthly. Resolving Minimum Order Quantity violations across Hasbro’s 25+ warehouses, collaborating with local demand planners globally to increase demand or with HFE to find vendor solutions Discovering and communicating new versions of existing items and proactively influencing local demand planners globally to change forecasts to allow supply plan creation and execution Collaborating with Project Management and HFE to understand and communicate development slips for new product while finding creating methods to reduce the revenue impact of slips on the global business units Managing purchase order date changes initiated by local demand planners or by our vendors to mitigate the impact on revenue or excess inventory for Hasbro. What You’ll Bring: 4-year college degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related business discipline Must have supply chain/logistics planning knowledge (education experience counts!) Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic and high-pressure environment Develop a sense of urgency and attention to detail Learn to perform in a metric driven environment where personal and team accountability are paramount Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge Excellent communication capabilities, written and oral.
