Job description
Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with a high-tech international company delivering innovative laser technology solutions to Automotive, Aerospace, Medical and Scientific research communities.

- Generous 10k-15k relocation package (which includes 4-8 weeks apartment or extended stay hotel and 6-8 weeks car rental) for suitable candidates that are willing to relocate for the position
Summary of the role: Generating sales in electrified vehicles and other industries. The position will generate leads, cultivate relationships with customers, and assist regional sales efforts in the space of Energy, such as battery cell, battery module, and fuel cell applications
. Responsibilities for Manufacturing Engineer: - Responsibility for developing industry contacts and development of relationships with potential customers throughout the U.S., Mexico, and Canada
- Generate leads, work with current & potential clients, and identify relevant trends and realize go-to markets strategies for energy devices across a range of industries (i.e., automotive, marine, eBike, and other industries requiring batteries and fuel cell for energy devices
- Provide innovative solutions and ideas within the OEM product line and support regional sales efforts
- Initiate and coordinate sales push activities together with Regional Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Lead Management, and Marketing
- Attend industry synchro meetings to inform on strategy progress and maintain performance measurables (KPIs (key performance indicators)
- Any additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by management.
Qualifications for Manufacturing Engineer: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics or Business Management required
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in business development and sales preferred
- Several years of experience with electrification in automotive processes/energy or battery space preferred
- Experience with automation and laser processes a plus
- Microsoft Office including but not limited to; Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Travel - National and international travel is required to support customer projects (30-40% travel required)
- Occasional overnights as needed
- Must maintain Valid Driver’s License
