Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 370-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California serving the areas of north Sacramento County and south Placer County for more than 50 years. Responsibilities
The incumbent demonstrates competency in patient care for neonate pediatric adult and geriatric patients. The incumbent will perform arterial punctures continuous ventilation airway maintenance emergency care infection control isolation procedures maintenance and operation of mechanical ventilators cardiopulmonary resuscitation aerosolized medication delivery for the treatment of pulmonary disease and medical gas administration. The incumbent will access the medications from the medication storage unit and the nurse servers in the patient care areas. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested in professional manner.

Qualifications
Experience:
Two (2) years experience in an acute care hospital setting with 1 year being critical care.
If no qualified candidate a training position may be considered depending on staffing needs.
Education:
Licensure:
Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner wiht the State of California.
BLS (American Heart Association).
PALS (American Heart Association).
National Board of Respiratory Care certification is preferred.
Pay Range
$58.44 - $58.44 /hour
