Position Overview: As a Service Advisor at Garlyn Shelton Volkswagen, you will be the face of our service department, working directly with customers to ensure their service needs are met efficiently and with the highest level of professionalism. You will play a vital role in helping our customers maintain their Volkswagen vehicles and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Listen attentively to customer concerns and service requests.
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate with the service team to ensure timely completion of work.
- Communicate service recommendations, estimates, and repair options to customers.

- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles during the service process.
- Ensure the service area is organized, clean, and welcoming to customers.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused attitude and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and services (Volkswagen knowledge is a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications and service management software.
- Valid driver's license.
