ASSISTANT FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES MANAGER OPPORTUNITY AT SUNTREE COUNTRY CLUB Suntree Country Club is seeking a positive, energetic, and highly capable professional who has strong food and beverage management skills. The candidate must be one who embodies and demonstrates a confident servant leadership style that promotes a positive culture with an emphasis on team development while maintaining the highest levels of member satisfaction. The Assistant Food and Beverage Services Manager will report to the Food and Beverage Services Manager. SUNTREE COUNTRY CLUB Established in 1975 Suntree Country Club is a private, member-owned country club built exclusively for the enjoyment, relaxation, and fellowship of its members, their families, and guests. The beautifully landscaped estate offers 36 holes of championship golf and a state-of-the-art short-game practice facility. Additionally, members enjoy a 13 court racquets complex that includes pickleball, and a beautiful pool with a poolside bar. Food service is handled through 2 large, multi-function clubhouses, multiple kitchens, bars, private meeting rooms and exercise facilities. KEY RESPONISIBILITIES Opening / closing procedures and assigning tasks based on checklists. Will be responsible for unlocking / locking up Clubhouses. Conducting Pre-Meal Shift Meetings with staff. Assists with the training of all new personnel. Works with the F&B Services Manager to conduct continual training programs for restaurant staff. Responsible for continuous team and individual coaching and training. If applicable, initiates employee corrective actions process in conjunction with the Service Manager, and or Food and Beverage Director. Positive communication skills. Must review & be knowledgeable of all Suntree events / functions Club wide. Remains readily accessible and attentive to both members and servers. Must be willing to learn and remember members' names. Must ensure member / guest daily satisfaction. Personally acknowledge, resolve member, guest, and employee grievances. Supervisor discretion is the utmost imperative to keep all Club situations. Maintains a high level of cleanliness and always keeps the clubhouse safe and in an orderly fashion. Promotes all Club events to member / guests. Manage On-Line Reservation System Ensures Liquor room and wine room are organized. Completing end of shift reports Reports any needed supplies or equipment to the Service Manager, Food & Beverage Director and/or Executive Chef. Keeps storage areas stocked and neat. Assists with Monthly inventory. Must be able to work rapidly and efficiently during rush hours. Ability to use all equipment related to the food & beverage service. Abilities to communicate and understand the directions of Service Manager, and Director of Food & Beverage. Must comply with all rules and regulations as stated in the employee handbook. Must be willing to adhere to policies/procedures of the club's ongoing safety program. Any additional oversight or projects as needed. EDUCATIONAL AND CERTIFICATION QUALIFICATIONS A Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or Associates Degree (A.A.) in Hospitality Management or related fields is helpful, plus a minimum of 3-5 years of increasingly more responsible experience in a private club, resort, high-volume hotel, restaurant, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
