What's the role? As the Head of Augmented Reality, ZEISS Consumer Markets, you get to work with an astonishing team that plays a vital role in eyewear consumer products. Show case your skills and experience with a multifaceted, cutting-edge business line and will need to tackle a number of challenges in this emerging market space.
Sound Interesting? Here's what you'll do: - Key Account Management: Acting as the key senior contact with client stakeholders, challenging their thinking, managing and ultimately surpassing their expectations and providing expertise on manufacturing, technology and the market.
- Business Process: Establishing world-class business systems and processes across the Augmented Reality Division to ensure the organization meets its commercial objectives and delivers for clients.
- Leadership & Management : Developing and mentoring the existing Augmented Reality organization.
- Impact: Generating impact for ZEISS Consumer Markets by further developing the business strategy for the AR organization and growing the business
Do you qualify? - 5+ years of experience in successfully leading and growing a technological business unit in a high demanding environment.
- A Bachelor's Degree in business administration or engineering, or similar field.
- Strong ability to lead intercultural and remote teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in b2c and/or b2b markets with an excellent understanding of the market dynamics.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven track record of successfully representing your organization's (shareholder's?) interests.
- Excellent communication skills and understanding with internal and external stakeholders, able to both understand and convey complex ideas.
- A strong track record of successfully managing client relationships and acting as the main point of contact for clients.
- Deep technical knowledge and track record of leading market entry for an innovative product in an emerging consumer market.
- Wealth of experience as a P&L leader with expertise in working closely with cross-functional teams.
- A strong natural leader with a collaborative and empathetic style, capable of building high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges and find effective solutions.
- Willingness to travel internationally (>50%)

The annual pay range for this position is $193,000 - $241,000
The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
This position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions. ZEISS also offers robust benefits, including medical plans, retirement savings plan and paid time off.
