Join our dynamic team in revolutionizing agriculture! As a key player, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the robust backend infrastructure that drives our cutting-edge agricultural technology platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable solutions and contribute to the growth of our innovative solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues and cross-functional teams to grasp requirements and design efficient backend systems, supporting the continuous evolution of our platform.
Develop and maintain secure, scalable backend services, and APIs to power the Trace platform.
Implement and manage data storage solutions, ensuring optimal retrieval and storage for large datasets.
Enhance data processing pipelines, integrating seamlessly with diverse data sources to support analytics and other applications.
Integrate vendor and customer systems with the Trace platform, fostering a seamless user experience.
Actively participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our development processes.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices, integrating them into our development processes when applicable.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or a related field is required.
Proven 7+ years of experience in a similar technical role, preferably within the agriculture or agtech industry.
Possess a problem-solving mindset with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Proficiency in Python and Python web frameworks like Django and Flask is required.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for internal tools.
Experience in database design and optimization, encompassing relational and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong understanding of API design, architecture, testing, and documentation.
Passion for agriculture, sustainability, and utilizing technology to address industry challenges.
