Tool Attendant (Die Cleaner)
Delmont, PA
$17/hour
4pm - midnight (M-F)
1 Position for 2nd Shift

The function of this position is to clean dies and sizers for production. Responsible for the assembly of new sizers and dies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Clean and assemble dies.
- Operate the extruder hone.
- Learn storage procedures.
- Update die-polishing log.
- Shipping tooling to be anodized. This includes inspection before shipping, packaging tooling, labeling and weighing, documentation and reassemble sizers.
- Mount sizers on extruded rail, polish sizers, tap bolt holes, and inspect water function of sizers.
- Set-up the tooling on the quick change carts.
- Responsible for updating tool signoff sheet every time a tracked task is completed.
- Follow all established safety rules and procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES - Machine shop skills: setup and operation of machinery and equipment.
- Proficient with measuring devices: tape measure, caliper, micrometers, and dial indicator.

- Proficient mathematical skills.
EXPERIENCE : One year in Extrusion
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS : High School Diploma
