Job Summary
We are looking for individual to join our client’s team as Java Developer.
Job Description
- The Java Developer will provide development services for the mandated enhancements of the Employee Misconduct Registry (EMR)and Medicaid Occupancy Reporting and Tracking (MORT) stabilization project.
- This position will maintain and provide technical support for the projects.
Skills Required
- 8+ years required - Strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of users
- 8+ years required - Strong background in developing custom Java applications using JavaScript, JSP, JSTL, HTML, CSS, and other applicable tools.
- 8+ years required - Skilled with Database query languages (SQL, PL/SQL).
- 8+ years required - Skilled in developing Windows forms and/or web applications
- 6+ years preferred - Skilled in creating SOAP and RESTful Web Services
- 4+ years preferred - Experience with Oracle databases.
- 4+ years preferred - Strong skills in performing unit testing.
- 4+ years preferred - Experience with functional testing of code changes in Integration environments.
- 4+ years preferred - Working in an Agile SDLC environment.
- 4+ years preferred - Experience using Jira to track work assignments
- 2+ years preferred - WebSphere Application development knowledge
- 1+ years preferred - Experience working on projects utilizing agile project management methodologies.
- 1+ years preferred - Experience upgrading the struts framework
Additional Requirements
- $50 per hour and higher depending on experience
