Job description

Focus Search LLC is recruiting for a Vice President of Accounting role with a for a global tech company with offices in Portland, Oregon and San Jose, California. This role is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions globally, ensuring compliance and reporting accuracy. This role involves leading a large global team, collaborating with other leaders to optimize organizational structures and processes, and reports direct to the CAO. The VP will drive automation initiatives, including the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA, and provide technical accounting consultation. Key responsibilities include ERP design and optimization, close and revenue recognition, M&A, reporting, and change management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing controllership functions at multinational companies, expertise in accounting operations and ERP systems, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Related field (CPA preferred)
• 20+ years of relevant experience, with a combination of Big 4 and large multi-national companies
• Strong technical accounting acumen
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, especially related to global ERP systems

Salary: 275-300k
