Job description
We are looking to add an experienced, motivated and exceptional sous chef to our wonderful staff here at Papa Haydn. Candidates must possess a sense of urgency, a positive attitude, and demonstrated ability to work well within a team. We are a high volume restaurant with an emphasis on making each dish an experience for our customers. Papa Haydn has been a centerpiece in northwest Portland for the last 35 years and has a reputation for great service and encouraging and promoting growth in the kitchen. We are looking for an applicant with 2+ years of experience in a
management position at a fine dining establishment. We work with local farms
& purveyors to create a menu focusing on the Pacific Northwest with
European influences, creating everything from scratch. Teamwork driven
candidates can expect competitive wages, tons of educational opportunities,
great medical/benefits. This is a full time job and we are looking to fill the
position immediately. Job duties include butchery, running a motivated and positive kitchen while on shift, scheduling, inventory and ordering.
