About our group:

RD Logistics department has responsibility for enabling faster delivery of RD experiments in a high-volume Wafer manufacturing facility. This enables Seagate's strategy of delivering ever larger capacity storage including next generation HAMR drives to our customers. About the role - you will:

• Collect and analyze cycle time data
• Observe and interview operators to understand barriers to success
• Map business processes
• Collect Stakeholder input to design solutions
• Implement solutions in a timely manner
• Present findings and solutions to Management
• Manage several projects in parallel

About you:

• Ability to communicate vertically and horizontally through numerous channels, utilize cross-functional network to complete goals
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with global teams
• Ability to build relationships and influence cross functional teams
• Self-starter who can build relationships and use judgement when working with partners to ensure effective outcomes.
• Qualities of a team player.
• Ability to be flexible and work effectively with ambiguity and change

Your experience includes:

• Strong data processing and visualization skills (MS Excel, etc.)
• Creative problem solving
• Working across department to solve complex problems
• BS with an engineering or science major
