At LCRA, our Water Quality Protection team is looking for a dynamic manager with strong technical capabilities to lead the On-Site Sewage Facilities program! The program implements Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and LCRA OSSF rules through comprehensive plan review, inspection, and compliance for systems in the Highland Lakes region. This position plays a direct role in protecting the water supply for more than a million people. You will be trusted to:

• Lead and direct a team of professionals dedicated to protecting water quality
• Provide expert-level guidance on technical requirements of TCEQ and LCRA OSSF rules to staff and customers
• Implement a technical review process that ensures projects achieve compliance with LCRA rules and are permitted in a timely manner
• Implement a robust OSSF inspection program
• Ensure OSSF staff investigate and address complaints about septic compliance issues
• Collaborate and interact with cities, counties, and other governmental jurisdictions on septic permitting issues

You qualify with:

• Twelve or more years of experience in water quality analysis, monitoring, public outreach, program management, or other relevant experience, including three or more years of supervisory experience.
• A degree(s) in engineering, science, environmental management, water resource management or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
• Driver's license
