Job Title: Project Leader-CNC Programming
Location: Plymouth MI
Salary: $85k-$105k
Requirements: Lean Manufacturing, Setup, Castings

We are looking for an experienced CNC Project Manager to join our world class manufacturing organization. This position requires technical/machining skills and the ability to improve processes in an ISO regulated, multi-faceted department. The successful candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and strong manufacturing background.

What You Will Be Doing

- Review Customer supplied Drawings/prints
- Prepare Perishable tooling for new processes
- Assist Engineering in Fixture design/development, responsible for all fixture design approval (Engineering Manager acting as second)
- Coordinate internal fixture builds
- Create CNC programming for new processes, improvement of current processes, work with Manufacturing on new process run offs to insure Quality and that process meets run at rate
- Provide support for balance Equipment, process flow design using Lean Manufacturing methods
- Participate in external/internal Corrective Actions as related to product manufacturing techniques
- Monitor Company perishable tooling use, provide improvement plans, follow up with each facility on progress towards outlined goals
- Assure approved processes are followed, work with each facility's management team when improvement opportunities are pointed out
- Turn cycle times in to engineering and post on the machine, assist Manufacturing in troubleshooting processes, look for opportunities to decrease cycle times/improve perishable tool lifespan
- Work with external perishable tooling sources in design and development of special tooling, coordinate test runs, follow up on deliveries and Quality of work
- Maintain cleanliness of area/cells, hold employees accountable for these tasks
- Support Compliance with Quality policies and procedures (IATF16949 & ISO 14001)

- Cycle Times
- AutoCAD
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 10+ years in Manufacturing Field
- 5+ years of Cutting tool experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
